Valras-Plage is THE seaside resort of Béziers Méditerranée ! Indeed, its magnificent beach never ceases to attract.

Valras-Plage beach allows everyone to swim in complete safety thanks to its 4 first aid stations in which lifeguards, firefighters and an emergency doctor will be present throughout the summer season. This exceptional surveillance system has earned it the Blue Flag label for the 25th consecutive year .

The brand new S line also called "" La Solaire "", departing from platform 6 of the Béziers Bus Station , provides a departure every 30 minutes . The last bus will leave Valras on weekends at 10:55 p.m. , giving you time to enjoy yourself! In addition, it also serves the towns of Villeneuve-lès-Béziers and Sérignan , great, right?

And as they say, "never two without three", line 3 on Valras-Plage (now called Line L for " La Littorale ") will allow you to leave from the Port Conchylicole (Vendres) . From July 6, it will serve different stops throughout Valras-Plage and a few in Sérignan before arriving at its terminus: Sérignan-Plage .

The nature reserve and the naturist beach

Since 2020, the Orpellières nature reserve and its magnificent beaches have constantly attracted hundreds of people. Easily accessible thanks to its parking lot near the "" Le Sérignan-Plage "" campsite, it is always very relaxing to come and swim or simply have a picnic . Unspoiled beaches , lagoons , and dune cordon are waiting for you to offer you a breathtaking spectacle with an environment as peaceful as it is magnificent!

The naturist beach is separated by a sign to demarcate the areas. You will also find a first aid station there.

Not far from these beaches is the Maison de site des Orpellières , a calm and relaxing place perfect for families because it offers a playground and various workshops and visits (during school holidays) and events during the summer.

Grande Maire Beach

Located at the end of the alley bearing its name, the Grande Maïre beach is one of the largest in Sérignan after that of Orpellières . It also has a car park and a first aid station to ensure everyone's safety.

La Grande Maïre is a former " arm " of the Orb. It is now considered a lagoon where fresh water and salt water mix. Classified as " Natura 2000 ", it is very pleasant to swim there during the summer.
